- Sheriff Bill is the designer and builder of the "Town Of Dry Gulch", which is located one block up (west) from the lake on Route 430.Findley Lk.NY This Wild West Town (circa 1849), contains the following: "Crystal Chateau" An Incredible Rock&Gift Shop that is filled with gemstone type gifts such as carvings, candles, jewelry, and over 1,000 sparkling crystals!... "Earthstone Gallery" offers the original works of William Paul, aka: Sheriff Bill (published newspaper cartoonist), stone sculptor, and painter... "On The Rocks", is the General Store for kids and offers penny candy, fossils, rocks & minerals and souvenirs. Last but certainly not least, "The Dry Gulch Gem Mine". This enchanting area of outdoor gem mining trails is complete with a full picnic pavillion, a wild west museum, a miniature town and railroad, and "Fuzzy's Hut", a black light mineral display. Kids (young and old alike) can arrange for a field trip, birthday party, or private party.
